Imperior`s Palaces
During the time when the culture of Vietnam has begun it`s development, it has borrowed the governmental system from China. The country was ruled by the Emperor (or we could name the ruler of the country as a King as Vietnam is a small country after all). The rituals and all other external shows of the government such as ceremonial dresses, royal regalia, ritual tripods, institute of concubines, architecture of palaces and parks - all of that have had characteristics of luxury. The Emperor has had a few residences for different seasons of the year, surrounded by the beautiful parks and pools. The best gardeners of the country were selecting new flowers and other plants to perfect the parks. The Emperor himself loved to watch flowers all over the year, and his servants were creating wonderful poems and music during the poetic competitions. The pools and streams created micro-climate, which made the hot climate of the south quite acceptable one. In carefully crafted palace`s gardens, pools and artificial hills created a complete illusion of infinite room. The wide alleys were guarded by the immortal guardians - stone soldiers, lions and dragons. The philosophy of god alike nature and man`s unity with it was implemented in the architecture of the Emperor`s palaces.
